Your Learning Team has been hired as consultants for Bubble Films, a Hollywood, California-based company that produces documentary films. To remain competitive in their industry, Bubble Films wants to develop customer-centric services that meet needs in a way that is intuitive and accessible. The company has 150 employees located in three states. Approximately 20% of the employees work virtually from home. Bubble Films has two hundred personal computers, five servers, and one mainframe computer. Your team is charged with making recommendations for the following software categories:
Collaborative software: groupware
Financial software: accounting and cost analysis
Marketing and sales software: customer relationship management
Business intelligence software
The team deliverable is a 18- to 20-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation. For each category, provide the following information:
Type of software
List of vendors and products reviewed, from at least three categories
Reason the product was selected
Brief description of the software including cost: discuss the possibility of integrating with other recommended software.
Advantages and disadvantages of using the software
Information about the vendor: how long the vendor has been in business; the size of the vendor in terms of number of employees, revenues, etc.; the vendor’s reputation
Potential integration concerns: describe potential integration issues and the potential mitigation options the integration team should consider
Security concerns: describe any potential security risks the software possibly creates or exacerbates
The first slide must be the title page, the second slide must contain an executive summary, and the final slide must list APA formatted references. All slides must contain detailed speaker notes.
